“PM Modi has decided a 200 decrease in the cost for domestic LPG cylinders, to benefit all users…this is a gift by PM Narendra Modi, to the women of the country, during the occasion of Raksha Bandhan and Onam,” said Union Minister Anurag Thakur. “This is a gift from PM Narendra Modi, to the women of the country, during the occasion of Raksha Bandhan and Onam.”

According to Thakur, in 2014, when our government first assumed power, a total of only 14.5 crore persons had home LPG connections. “Today, that number has increased to 33 crore, of which 9.6 crore have been distributed under the Ujjwala scheme,” he added. “The Ujjwala scheme has been responsible for distributing.”
