In order to attend the two-day opposition I.N.D.I., Mamata Banerjee is now in Mumbai.A meeting of the group will take place in India’s financial capital starting on Thursday.

Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, joined Uddhav Thackeray, the Chief of the Shiv Sena (UBT), on Wednesday to celebrate Raksha Bandhan at Thackeray’s residence in Mumbai. Thackeray was the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra.

Banerjee presented Thackeray with a rakhi and posed for photographs with Thackeray’s family. On day X, the images of the two party leaders enjoying Raksha Bandhan were shared online by the Trinamool Congress. “Today, the Honourable Chief Minister Smt @MamataOfficial celebrated Rakhi with Uddhav Thackerey ji and his family at his residence in Mumbai,” tweeted @MamataOfficial on Twitter.

They shared their best wishes with one another and enjoyed the auspicious day by cracking smiles and laughing,” TMC wrote.

Banerjee is currently present in Mumbai for the opposition I.N.D.I.A bloc meeting that will commence on Thursday and last for two days in India’s financial city. At the third meeting of the coalition, opposition leaders representing 26 different political groups are scheduled to participate.

According to a statement made by a leader of the Congress party named Naseer Hussain to the news organisation PTI about the agenda for the conference, “In this meeting, we will decide our action plan, the structuring of the organisation, the logo, and how we will contest in Parliament (2024 Lok Sabha elections).”

The conference of the opposition coalition is taking place few days after the Central Government decreased the price of LPG petrol cylinders for all customers by 200. The government decided to increase the amount of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) subsidy by an additional two hundred rupees, bringing the total value of the subsidy up to four hundred rupees.

The opposition has raised concerns about the timing of the decision, despite Prime Minister Narendra Modi describing it as a gift to’sisters’ for the holiday of Raksha Bandhan.

The INDIA alliance has only held TWO meetings in the last TWO months, but today we can see that the price of LPG has dropped by Rs. 200. “Until now, the INDIA alliance has only held TWO meetings in the past TWO months.” This is the power that India possesses! Banerjee has written anything on X.
