Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma, who were just recently seen together in a portion of Sujoy Ghosh’s show titled “Lust Stories 2,” are currently dating and have been doing so for a few months. Tamannaah and Vijay are both quite open about their relationship in public and often talk about the other person’s job, cheer for each other on social media, and encourage each other in their endeavours. In a recent interview, Vijay confessed that during his early days in the profession, he did not want to date somebody who was also from the same business; but, when he eventually started seeing Tamannaah, he “found so much value in having somebody who knows the game.”
During an interview with Film Companion, Vijay said the following: “When I first started out, I thought I would not be with an actress or anybody from the industry, just because I was probably very angry at the industry.” As a result, when we first started seeing one other, I realised how valuable it is to have somebody who is familiar with the game, who is familiar with the business, who understands all aspects of filmmaking, including the artistic, the creative, the logistical, and the financial aspects.
The conversation then turned to Vijay discussing Tamannaah’s vast experience and how she is able to provide him with perspective anytime he is “feeling a certain way.” He stated that her years of expertise, as well as her hard work and sound judgement, were of great assistance to him. Many things are improved by her insightful perspective. Sometimes I am just going through the motions because I am feeling a certain way in a certain day, because I said something, because I gave an interview… and she provides a perspective right away.”
The first time that Vijay and Tammannah were seen together in public, romance rumours began to circulate about the two of them. This happened at a New Year’s celebration in Goa. Recently, Vijay expressed that he is “not particularly comfortable” with the attention that is being paid to his personal life, but that he is attempting to get used to it all the same. Earlier, he expressed his surprise to the website indianexpress.com by saying, “First of all, it’s news to me that we are one of the most sought for couples. It is really humble and quite nice, but when it first happened, I wasn’t used to it and it took some getting used to. I was pretty accustomed to exploring on my own without anyone else around. When we go out together, people are more likely to pay attention to both of us. and continued on by saying, “I am not particularly comfortable (with the attention), but I am just trying to get used to it.”
