IOCL Apprentice Jobs 2025: The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) Marketing Division, located in the Western Region of Mumbai, has announced an opportunity for aspiring apprentices in 2025. A total of 313 positions are open for online applications from eligible candidates. These roles are available to individuals with qualifications such as ITI certifications, graduation degrees, and diplomas, who wish to engage as Trade, Technician, and Graduate Apprentices under the provisions of the Apprentices Act of 1961/1973/1992, with subsequent amendments. IOCL Apprentice Age Requirements (Effective as of January 31, 2025):
– Minimum Age: Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
– Maximum Age: The age limit is capped at 24 years.
– **Upper Age Relaxation:**
– Candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories may receive an age relaxation up to 29 years, allowing an additional 5 years.
– OBC-NCL candidates are eligible for a relaxation extending the age limit up to 27 years, which accounts for an extra 3 years.
– Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) can avail themselves of a relaxation up to 10 years.
**IOCL Apprentice Compensation Details:**
The stipend for apprentices is determined in accordance with the rates specified under the Apprentices Act of 1961/1973 and the Apprentices Rules of 1992/2019, which are subject to periodic amendments.
**IOCL Apprentice Eligibility Criteria:**
– **Trade Apprentice:** Candidates must have completed Matriculation and pursued a regular, full-time two-year ITI course in the relevant trade, recognized by NCVET/SCVT.
– **Technician Apprentice:** Applicants should hold a three-year, regular, full-time Diploma in a relevant engineering field. A minimum aggregate score of 50% is required for General, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates, whereas SC/ST/PwBD candidates need at least 45%, from a recognized institute or university.
– **Graduate Apprentice:** A regular, full-time Graduate degree in any discipline (such as BA, B.Com, B.Sc, or BBA) is necessary. General, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates must have attained at least 50% in aggregate marks, while SC/ST/PwBD candidates should have secured a minimum of 45%, from a recognized institute or university.
**IOCL Apprentice Selection Procedure:**
– **Registration Requirement:** Candidates must successfully register on the NAPS/NATS portal and apply as per the notification guidelines to be considered for the selection process.
– **Selection Method:** There will be no written test or interview conducted.
– **Merit List Preparation:** Selection will be based on a merit list derived from qualification marks.
