In Ambernath, two teenagers were killed when their vehicle collided with a tree.

Ambernath: On Wednesday, a car tragedy claimed the lives of two teens when the driver lost control of the vehicle and slammed it head-on into a tree in Ambernath while speeding.
Both Manav Rakesh Tharwani, age 18, and Kaushal Tharwani, age 16, lived in the Golmaidan neighbourhood of Ulhasnagar with their families. The deceased have been named as Manav Rakesh Tharwani and Kaushal Tharwani.

The two people had just left Ulhasnagar and were on their way to Ambernath when their car was involved in an accident. The incident took place during this time. Both of them were trapped inside the vehicle after it collided with a tree, and they were unable to open the door.
While Kaushal was riding as a passenger in the vehicle, careless driving was being performed by Manav, the driver. According to Jagannath Kasalkar, the senior police inspector at the Ambernath police station, a case has been filed against Manav Tharwani under the Indian Penal Code sections 304 (A) (causing death by negligence), 279 (rash and driving), and section 184 (the Motor Vehicle Act).

A bystander ran to the scene and attempted to free the trapped individuals, but the car was in such bad shape that it was impossible. After waiting for half an hour, the authorities arrived and were able to free them from the predicament.

They were sent to the primary hospital in Ulhasnagar, where it was determined that they had passed away before their arrival.

According to A. P. Mavale, a police sub-inspector, “A car was speeding coming from the direction of Ulhasnagar and lost control of the car,” which then hit the walkway and crashed into a tree. He went on to say that they both travelled towards Ambernath in order to consume ice cream.
